DESCRIPTION & BACKGROUND

Sandra Jimenez is a doctor, or at least the closest thing to a doctor that you’re going to find in the Johnson Creek area. She learned to ply her trade by studying leftover medical texts and through good old-fashioned trial and error. She might not be able to carry out a heart transplant, but she’ll dig a bullet out of you and leave with a far lower chance of dying than if you just went and left it in.

Things haven’t gone easy for Sandra, her parents died early on and she was left in the care of her older brother. On a scavenging run one day, her brother got a nasty infection after he cut himself on some rusty scrap metal. Far away from any settlements and her brother’s condition deteriorating by the hour, Sandra was helpless and before long, her brother was at death’s door. She couldn’t bear the thought of losing anyone again, so she begged and bartered her way into medicinal knowledge and over the years has gotten her skills to the point where hardly anyone she treats dies, you know, if they weren’t dying to begin with.

These days, Sandra has set up shop in the Johnson Creek area, mostly because if she weren’t, the area wouldn’t have anything in terms of medical help outside of some basic first-aid. She might be gruff and curt, but you wouldn’t really want to have anyone from the Jeffologists trying to patch you up. They might be nice, but you’d probably be dead before sunrise.
